Setting out from Whernside on 27 August, Alan will be navigating peaks from Cornwall to Northumberland, ending up with the three county tops of Cumberland, Westmorland and Lancashire which are now part of Cumbria.
The first Briton to climb all 14 of the world’s highest mountains, Alan has teamed up with Casio Pro Trek to tackle the 39 ‘county tops’ in aid of Mountain Rescue England and Wales.
