Mountain Rescue Magazine
Mountain Rescue Magazine
Mountain Rescue is our quarterly magazine, available to team members, Basecamp members and on subscription.
Published in January, April, July and October, it's packed with regional and national news, medical and technical developments, incident tales and travel stories, advice and commentary – a must for anyone interested in the mountains and all things mountain rescue.
Feel free to download back issues of the mag here, but the best way to ensure you're kept bang up to date with developments is to subscribe. And the best way to do that is through Basecamp support membership. For just £24 a year for single membership, £42 for joint , you can ensure your very own copy of Mountain Rescue Magazine will be delivered to you at home. Hot off the press.
Editorial
We welcome your feedback on the magazine. If you would like to comment, or enquire about editorial submissions, please write to the Editor, Judy Whiteside, via editor@mountain.rescue.org.uk
Advertising
The mag goes out to mountain and cave rescue team members across the UK and Ireland (not to mention Europe, Canada and the United States), plus a fast growing Basecamp membership.
We boast a very broad readership, including men and women, from 18 to 60+, but there's one thing they all have in common – a deep love of anything remotely outdoor – fells, crags, caves or mountains, rain, sun, snow or ice. This highly focused group presents a perfect target market for advertisers – technical equipment, clothing, footwear, bunk houses, hotels or holidays, four wheel drive vehicles, books and maps... they are all interested, all have a more than average interest in any new developments in the 'gear market', and more to the point, they all buy!
