Judy Whiteside

Judy’s involvement with mountain rescue began as a support member, then secretary, of the Rossendale and Pendle team. In 2000 she picked up the gauntlet of producing a national publication for mountain rescue. What began as a twelve-page, six-monthly ‘newsletter’ has continued to develop under her wing into a sometimes 72-page, full colour quarterly magazine to be proud of, the flagship publication for mountain rescue across the UK. She has also been involved with our conferences since 2002 and shares the chair with Penny Brockman for 2024.
