Bowland Pennine MRT

Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team covers a vast area, extending from the Cumbrian border in the north, to the Lancashire coast to the west, east to the A59 and south to the West Pennine Moors. The last few years has seen a considerable increase in the number of requests by Lancashire Police for assistance in non-mountain or open country environments, included missing person searched and assisting the ambulance service during severe weather.
