Chris Cookson

Chris took on the task of Conference track coordinator, a role which rapidly morphed (almost without his noticing) into overseeing the development of the speaker programme and timetable. He has been an operational member with the Cockermouth team since 1992, during which time he has served as a deputy team leader as well as the team and region’s training officer. He is passionate about the topic of safety in the mountain rescue environment and the development of the individual within teams.
