Rescue Benevolent Fund

For the mountain and cave rescue family in need

The Rescue Benevolent Fund was set up in 2013 through the collaboration of Mountain Rescue England and Wales and the British Cave Rescue Council to support the volunteer team members from both those organisations. Our aim is to help alleviate hardship which has arisen as a direct result of a mountain or cave rescue operation. This might be physical rehabilitation after injury, mental health support (whether following trauma or during personal crisis), or financial hardship.

The 2024 conference raffle will once again be in support of the Rescue Benevolent Fund.
