Introducing the Mountain Rescue Fairness Fund:

James has been chair of Keswick MRT since 2023. Professionally, he is a trained accountant and has run several businesses, currently owning and running a large self-catering property in Keswick. The session will comprise a video presentation by James, outlining the proposed Fairness Fund, a collaborative initiative through which the better-off teams can help to financially support other teams who need it, perhaps for a particular project. This will be followed by a Q&A session hosted by Phil Gerard, chair of LDSAMRA. A Cockermouth team member for fourteen years, Phil is currently acting as major incident officer and search manager, part of the LDSAMRA Silver cadre.
